Transmission Filter Bolts

I know it's strange, but I when replacing the transmission filter one of the bolts was 1/4 inch longer than the others. Tried to find the right spot, but it threads easily in any of the holes. Wouldn't worry so much except I remember my original c6 had the same odd bolt as well. Does it matter where it goes?

Don't want to block a valve or have something unsecured something and don't know enough to not worry about it.
