Skid Steers
Not super familiar with them but ordering a John Deere 325 Tuesday. Has some options such as cab, tracks, high flow and will be used to do shredding and lot dirt work.
Its 75hp and 9500lbs. 32gpm.
Was also looking at the 331 and its 91hp, 12,000lbs, and 36gpm. $15k more might be worth it but the 72” shredder I want is only rated up to 35gpm, but I could get another.
Anything else to look at?

the shredder will handle the 331, you just will not have to rev the engine full throttle.
we had a 259 cat the 24 inch cold miller head you had to go full throttle, and even then it would stall. the 299 cat will rum the same attachment at half throttle without stalling.

Yeah I will talk to the sales guy about it. See if he has any feedback on the shredder.
I can also chip the 325 and get 90hp out of it. The 325 is non emissions and the 331 uses DEF.

The 10V is the size I would look at. Actually really close to the JD in some specs I am looking at but 500lbs more which may work.
Some used ones available with low hours around the country.

Got my order in. Quite typical they tried to change things on the final signed sells order I had to stop and have them change back. Not very helpful people when asking stuff.
Its optioned out though really well and about 5000 over base price. So it’s probably a fair deal.
