Line-x bumpers color match or black?

After two years my factory color matched rear bumper has a huge rust spot and front bumer has multiple stone chips. My plan is to have them both sprayed with line-x. Can't decide if I want color match and how that would hold out or just go with black. Truck is magnetic. My 2002 was pretty much the same color and the rocker bottoms were black from factory. Not the worse color combo just don't know if I will like it. Any pictures or real life stories of how the color match line-x holds up?

I called my local Line-x shop 2 days ago to ask a very similar question. I was told they will not install the color match product in the bed of a truck, unless it is a "show truck" because normal wear will remove the color layer. Apparently, the color is a top coat and not throughout the entire liner.

I asked about having the rockers done on my XL to achieve a factory two-tone look. He said that should hold up fine. He did quote me $2,200 and said that rockers take a lot of labor/prep due to having to mask off inside the door jambs etc. I will probably end up vinyl wrapping instead at a fraction of the quoted price.

I looked into it as well, but decided to get my Ranch Hand replacements painted stone gray. Automotive paint should hold up well and be very easy to touch up. My local Line Ex guys told me any color of their product would fade and may not match 100% even when new. Ill that said, I've seen some really nice looking Line Ex'd bumpers.

I think if I was going to do something like that I would powder coat it.

When I took my Ranch Hand to Line-X to have it coated, a guy was in there asking about having some bumpers done with a color match and they advised against it for two reasons. They said the color layer isn't as durable, and it was very expensive to have a color done. I think the guy wanted white, so I don't know if that would cost more than any other color but just an fyi.
