Verizon "Hum"
I've been using the gen 1 Verizon Hum since it came out in 2015. First in my 2012 F150 and now in my 2018 F250 Lariet FX4. I had to update the device because of the Gen 3 sunset. Never had an issue. While looking up the operation of the new gen2 Hum x I came across several articles saying that the dongle that goes in the OBDII port causes the transmission TCM in some Fords to "fry". So I ask the experts. Have any of you who may use this device had any issues with it messing up your trucks? Thanks for your help.
