6.0 bullet proofing
I have a 07 f350 with 200k. I am about to go in and replace the injectors,turbo and the fan clutch. I was thinking while it was already tore apart why not bullet proof it. Does anyone see any down or concerns bullet proofing something with 200k. I hardly drive the truck and use mainly to tow my boat. I’d like to add a tuner for more towing power. Thoughts and opinions are greatly appreciated

I don't see an issue bullet proofing it, even at 200,000 miles.
Any reason you are replacing the injectors and turbo?

It has been running rough for a couple months. And then it started dying after about 5 miles. I drained the oil to find roughly 2 gallons of diesel in it. Most likely has a cracked injector. Since I bought the truck it has been throwing an under boost code. It never affected how the truck ran or not that I could tell so i left it alone. But now since we have to tear into the engine I figure I would replace the turbo. Thanks for answering and sharing other threads
