Some dealers “pausing” accepting SD orders?

I placed another order with Corwin Ford in November with zero movement.
Both were x plan pricing but I have not discussed with either of them about the price increases so I’m curious as to how that will play out if and when either order shows up.

I called Chapman this past Friday. They confirmed they were not accepting orders at the moment and they were hoping to reopen in April.
Perhaps their backlog is loaded enough to cover their allocations for two months?
I am already ordered through Granger, but was checking Chapman for my dad to build since Horsham is closer to him. No dice, so Granger will get both builds.

Check out MAC HAIK ford, in Katy TX. They have an ad on their website for $5,000 off msrp if you place an order. I bought my 2018 f250 lariat their, and got a he'll of a deal, just watch for the lojack, ceramic coat, and window tint scam!! I have ordered a 22 f350 from granger as well, after I was worried Chapman would not price protect.

BTW, These ordered trucks will be my 64th and 65th new vehicle purchase since 1970. My way of helping the economy and keeping Americans employed. 🤩

I would say not many. This is a pure logistics and supply issue from Ford.

So you want to punish me? I have 2 trucks on order and will purchase both. Not everyone only needs and purchases one truck. We have 2 homes and 4 vehicles. I keep a truck at each house. What a country!

We are the opposite in car buying. I bought my current truck new in 2002, and have put 261k miles on it. Honestly it has been great, and never given me a reason to sell it. I’m probably gonna keep it when the new one gets here.

An ordered truck not picked up is still going to be sold to someone. But one could bet it benefits a dealer much more than a lot purchaser. America!

But I think the guy is meaning that for all those orders ahead of his that are not dealer inventory that will be declined on delivery because of multiple ordering are a huge setback for us guys only ordering one and really intending on taking delivery. And also a delay for you too!

Nobody in their right mind would be upset with multiple orders when you intend to buy them all.
Either way it don’t really affect our waits.
