Feedback Carb

Does any one know if i switch out the feedback carb on my 85 f150 300 with a older style non computerized one barrel, will i still be able run the computer distrubator or will cuase it to run real bad? She the thing is I'm trying to dumb up my motor one piece at a time .

It will probably go into limp mode and run, put at reduced power because it can not control all of the components that are supposed to be in the system.
