depending on how much crap is in the vents, it could be rite under the dash, or down in the blend box atop the trans hump.
my bet is down bottom.
easiest way to get in there is remove glove box, remove heater core cover, remove heater core, and reach in through the ducts and you should be able to reach it.
this will also give you a chance to clean out the blend box of all the other crap that fell down there over the past 27 years.
