I am interested in purchasing an outdoor storage cover for my 93 F350 Crew Cab Long bed. I have one, I believe made my sealskin, that I'm not happy with. The quality of the cover isn't very good, it doesn't fit very well, and hasn't held up to well since installing (I've been using it for about 5 months and it's torn in a few places. Does anyone have a recommendation for a company that makes a high quality cover. I am not opposed to having something custom made. Buying $200-300 Covers a couple of times would easily pay for a good one.
Nice truck. Typically I do not suggest using outdoor car covers. I have never seen one completely keep water out even the expensive ones. I will occasionally use one on a car stored in a garage for an extended period of time. When used outside they blow in the wind and if dirt blows up under then the paint gets marred as the grit acts like sandpaper. My suggestion would be a car port.

Thank you for the suggestion, but I did not ask what would be a better solution than a car cover. If I had the option the truck would be stored inside a car port or garage, but that's not the case. I am asking if anyone is aware of a company that makes a high quality outdoor cover.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear, but If a cover is the only option for outdoor storage, I would just not use one. I'd use a quality fitted windshield sunshade and that is it. From experiences with many friends vehicles I just can not suggest anyone use them on vehicles stored outside.

Thank you again, but I am not concerned with wind causing damage to the paint. The truck is parked in spot that is very sheltered from the wind, additionally it is going to be re-painted in the relative near future. I know that you wouldn't use a cover, but I do. My concern is keeping the pine sap, pine needles and bird poop off of the truck while also preventing UV damage. A cover is the best solution for my situation. Now unless you have a recommendation for a quality cover manufacturer please don't waste your time by telling me why I shouldn't do what I am already doing.
