6.7 Clank/Rev
2012 F 250 6.7 Pwr Stoke. I was driving down the road the other day and out of nowhere clanking noise came from the engine. I was only a mile from my house so I turned around and drove back home and parked it.
I cranked it again that evening and when I started it, it immediately started clanking but just a minute after ignition it started very high revs!
I am going to take a mechanics scope next and within that “ minute“ before the running away, try to locate this clanking. ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON?? Thanks!
