I ordered my '22 on March 23rd and it's finally loaded on a rail car today. here were 2 price increases totaling over $1700 since I ordered it and the invoice was printed 2 weeks ago. my dealer has implied those are on me but I was under the impression once the contract was signed that was the price. our deal was invoice pricing and they're honoring that it's just that the invoice changed. They sent me the invoice from the factory and the price increases are clearly there.
Before I confront them I need to know if there is anything to confront them about. did any of you who went through a price increase while on order pay it ?

From some posts that I've seen some people had the dealers honor the original price and submitted paperwork to Ford to get the money back.
Others had to bite the bullet and accept the increase if they wanted the truck. Kind of looks like a dealer by dealer thing. I wonder if there's any fine print addressing this in your contract?
Looking on Blue Oval Forums this topic hS been discussed quite a bit there's documents on there saying you are price protected. You should not be responsible for the price increases.
Sounds almost like another dealer trying to get you to back out of the deal so they can put the truck on the lot with a 20k dealer markup and make more money.
I have confirmed in writing from my dealer that the pricing on my signed PO will be honored if my truck ever appears.
Do you have a signed purchase order?
See the PDF in this post that shows the memo that was sent out to the dealers regarding orders placed prior to the Dec 7th price increase deadlines. It will be nearly identical for the new $1000 Feb. increase.
Show this to your dealer and tell them I'm price protected, go pound sand. "If I don't receive the price protection I will be submitting the most negative survey possible, contacting Ford Headquarters &the Regional Ford office to complain." If I still don't get my price protection, I'll file a small claims civil suit for breach of contract.
You should be price protected mine was but with that said dealers are all crooks and will scam you anyway possible for an extra dollar or In This case 1700
The price increase is her to stay. With them giving me 3% off MSRP, they weren't willing to eat the 2.41% price increase too. I ordered prior to Dec. 7, but didn't get built until 2/2/22. $1250 just isn't worth arguing about.

I see your point. While you are giving away money can I send you my address for a donation also? You ordered your truck and during normal times it would have been final. During these abnormal times price increases are to expected, especially when the items you can get are more expensive but the mother ship has said you are price protected and I for one would push it.

All the dealer has to do is submit for a correction on the invoice internally to Ford. The dealer isn't going to eat anything. I'm happy you're at a place in your life where $1295 is no big deal & will not be missed. Others, including myself, aren't willing to roll over.

Reason: spelling
... they weren't willing to eat the 2.41% price increase too....
I'm not 100% convinced that the dealer will have to eat it either
Because Ford doesn't have the ability to get the vehicles out in a timely manner, the customer gets to foot the bill?
Come to think of it, that's not a bad deal....keep on racking up orders and just charge more every couple months

I understand your position. If the dealer does not want to go through the "trouble" of submitting a request to Ford for a refund of the price increase and you are happy accepting the increase, then all is good. You might not be happy if the dealer gets the price increase from you and then also gets a refund from Ford. This is very likely.
