I was wondering what the best oil to use in a 1970 460 with 112000 miles on it would be? I have heard of some people using rotella oil for diesel engins

The folks that know about this sort of thing don't often frequent the "New Member Introductions" forum. You'll probably get a lot of good answers over in the "1967 - 1972 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks" forum in the "Older, Classic & Antique Trucks" section on the main forums page.
