Well, im building a backrack/headache rack for my truck (99 f350 c/c). Im going to put LED lights in it (tail back up and maybe turn). My question is should i have 2 red (oval) lights for each side, being both stop and turn and then 1 clear backup light on each side (wired with cargo light and backup light), or tap into the front turn signal wires, and use amber turns (1 on each side) 1 red stop light on each side and 1 clear backup/cargo on each side?
Any opinions on project or just answer with 2 red or 1 amber and 1 red
Thanks
yea, i like the idea of 2 red for stop, its rather noticable, but i would also like to have amber for turn. Only problem is, thats 6 led lights at 25-30 a pop.
Oh well, do it right the first time
If I were you I'd just use two red lights.......brake and turn signal and not worry with reverse. I have not seen clear LED's that didnt cost an arm and a leg......if you've found them cheap then let me know!
