2022 second USB port?

On my 2022 XLT with console there are 2 "intelligent" USB ports inside the little sliding door just under the A/C controls. One is "A" style, one is "C" style. By intelligent I mean the SYNC 3 system accesses your phone or memory stick via these ports.
There is another pair of A and C USB ports on the rear of the console, along with a 12 volt and 110 AC household outlet. All that USB ports does is provide power.
Just to make sure, I looked in both glove boxes and no ports/power of any kind in there. There is a 12 volt outlet inside the console. I have a 12v to USB charger in that, and I use that to charge my phone most of the time. Only when I need to run an app on the SYNC 3 do I use the active port in the little compartment.
