Hello all. I have a 2017 F-150 XLT 2.7 EB with the 302A package and the standard tow package. It started beeping when backing up when there are no obstructions. I think I cleaned all the sensors but there was no change. Any ideas? Thanks. Raleigh.

 

Did you put a different ball in your trailer hitch? Did you put a cover over the ball? I know I can't put a plastic cover over the ball on my trailer hitch or I have issues. Also if I but in the ball mount that it lifted 2 inch I have an issue too.

 

The screen will show you which sensor is picking up the obstruction. Start there.

 

No ball change and I will look more closely at the screen. Thanks.

 

An extended ball mount will set it off too.

 

I know your in TN but if you have snow down there, and have a backup camera. Snow in the license plate area sets off my camera/sensor.
