I’ve got a 2014 f350 6.7 that has had a leaking primary radiator but has recently gotten worse. So last night I ordered a new one and got the old one taken out. While the truck is down and this far apart I would like to do any preventative maintenance necessary on the front of the engine. I was thinking the belt and tensioner first but is there anything else that can be done while I have the front this much apart.
How many miles on her? Belt is good idea. What about replacing some of the larger radiator hoses and maybe thermostats while it is drained down? I used to do that back in the day, but things were much simpler then.

She's nearing 200k. Thermostats are a good idea. I think im gonna go with a motorcraft oem belt and tensioner about $200. I will look into finding some newer hoses... wish ford didn't use these retainer clamps on these big hoses with their brittle ford plastic.
Belts and hoses are all that come to mind. Thermostat was a good suggestion. Otherwise, you can check all your wiring harnesses for chaffing and making sure everything is staying nice and secure.
