full throttle hesitation
Have a Holley 750 DP atop a Edelbrock torqer II on my 351W (393 stroker) and have finally tweeked on this new carb to where it responds perfectly; I thought.
correct jetting and power valve
mixture screw settings
Under normal driving conditions and shifting thru the 4spd gear box; no problems.
Steady accelaration and shifting at 7000rpm; no problems.
Off idle and matting it to the floor in 1st gear; a one second hesitation but then picks up and everything is fine.
What do I need to tweek on to correct this?

What kind of Distributor? Does it have mechanical and or vacumn advance?
You may have a "sticky" advance when you romp it. Also when you got WOT your Vacumn drops really low that could be it.
I had a 79 302 that I had to put and inline restrictor in the vac advance because it was opening to quick
