Has anyone added the LED box lighting to their SD? My truck did not come with it and I was wanting to add it. Part number/numbers of the lighting kit and any You Tube videos would be great. I'm hoping the existing wiring harness can be used. Thanks
It's $$$ to do this using factory parts and the wiring harness used in the vid. Personally, I would look at the non-factory aftermarket options for better pricing, & more likely, better lighting.

Someone just made a post about this yesterday, scroll down a page or two and you'll probably see it.
By the time you add up all the parts he used in this thread, your at $211 + shipping from 2 different companies. Complete kit at Limitless is $295 + 20 shipping = #315. I may look on amazon and ebay...
What's the lure of cutting holes in your bed and using expensive OEM parts instead of using one of many aftermarket kits available?
Definitely cheaper options out there but the truck may already have knockouts in place for the lights and switch. My brother did the LED strips in his Silverado and it is definitely bright but he has wires showing and I don’t know how long they will stick. Lots of ways to accomplish this.
Not sure how long those 3D printed connector housings on the wiring harness are going to last or even if they are waterproof. Might be chasing electrical gremlins before long.

Reason: typo
Spend $30 and get two 6' strips of LED and have more light. Stick them under the bed rails!
This, BUT don't stick them to the truck, instead get two strips of aluminum to stick them to, and then attach them to the rails with phosphate screws. In fact if you use angle aluminum, you can have the light directed into the bed instead of directly down to it. You can buy the switch from Ford and may already have the power to it in the existing harness, run the wires from the switch inside the fender well and there may even be holes at the very top that you can reach through the tail light opening so the wires remain hidden.
