Front Shock Size
Looking for the correct front shocks for my 85 f-150 4x4 lariat custom xlt...I bought the shocks listed at Autozone for my truck, but they were too short....Truck does not have a lift kit or anything like that....not looking to spend alot either.....Thanks in advance for the help...

go back and ask to compare the set they sold you to another set...there are a lot of morons working at Autozone
Also, you could take one of your original shocks and compare them....you could try a junkyard, you would be mighty surprised what lurks around those places

Yeah those guys at autozone are next to worthless most of the time when it comes to knowing what people need. I wonder if they accidentally gave you the shocks for a 2wd F150. I am sure the 2wds use shorter shocks as they do sit lower than 4wds like yours and mine. I would try to return them and compare them to a set of shocks that go on a 4wd, so you can see if there is a difference.
