Oil leak

I have recently developed an oil leak at the back of the oil pan. There is a small metal cover under the starter moter and fly wheel I think is where it is coming from. I tightened the last oil pan bolt and cleaned the oil off, and it does not seem to be leaking from the pan, just that cover. Is there a seal or gasket inside that cover that could have gone bad? The weather has turned cold , and now it leaks enough to leave a puddel where ever I go. Any help would be usefull. 2000 F350 auto 122,500 miles and counting.

Check the top of the engine first. Most leaks originate there and run down the back of the engine.

Thanks powerstroker250. You were right. It is coming from the top of the engine and running down the back side. I park up-hill. I can see that it is leaking from under/ around the fuel filter where it meets the engine. Can't see any thing obveous. Any ideas. Thanks.

High pressure oil pump or high pressure oil line o-rings since you say its coming from the front.
