gauge problems
How do i replace the fuel sending unit in a 97 powerstroke? when i switch to the second tank, the gauge just pegs out. and the water temperature gauge doesn't work, it just moves about half an inch, but never gets into the normal operating temperature range. im gonna head to the ford dealership to pick up some stuff friday, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

the temperature guage on my 92 when i bought it wouldnt go far at all. To make sure that its your sending unit (probably is) measure the resistance when the truck is cold and then when it is warm. If anything isnt right, (resistance wise) its your sending unit
