Picked up this 1963 F250 Unibody yesterday for a whopping $1500. Runs and drives. I changed the oil today and have been wiping off grime since I brought her home.
Unfortunately someone rattle canned white over the original Caribbean Turquoise paint. I can still see it under the white in places so hopefully I can get the white off and get that green patina shining again.
Thanks for posting. Cheap repaints in another color are a crime, but that's typical on these vehicles from the $99 repaint days. Somebody also rattle canned the front bumper silver, they were off white originally. At least they didn't mess with the interior. '63 Custom Cabs were unique with the gray tu tone dash. Horn *****, arm rest and "250" side hood emblems are reproduced. What's not reproduced is the original wheels and hubcaps on the left side. The dual side tanks and larger outside mirrors are an indication it hauled a camper in the past. Nice to see them still out there, much lower production numbers than '65 and '66 F 250's.

Good info, thanks! Yeah the front and back bumpers are both that awful silver. Luckily the side 250 emblems and the front hood emblem were sitting on the seat. It is supposed to be nice next weekend so I’m going to hit the outside with my pressure washer then bolt the emblems back on. Also, the arm rest is pretty well roached so I removed it for now.

I finally got my shop cleaned up so I can park both trucks inside. Installed a new blanket seat cover today which looks great. Next up for the 63 is carb work. I got a carb kit and will be working on that this weekend.
Carb kit install this morning went great! The truck fired right up. This was my first time working on anything bigger than a quad carb so I’m happy with the results.
Drove in to get some gas and things went great. Got up to 60mph and she is super smooth.
