Does anyone know about anyone that has been able to modify the locker to stay on at any speed on the 2022s? I saw a youtube video where guys sold a kit for the older trucks but I believe it was only for diesels as well. Sure would be handy!
I asked this same question and got the same "why do you need it at a higher speed" comments. I don't think there's an easy way to do what you want now. I routinely run 30-35mph on muddy roads where you need some wheel speed, so having the locker active at those speeds would be great. I have '22 on order so hopefully someone figures out a way soon. Currently both of my trucks are running Detroit Lockers and they work great in those conditions at speed. Icy highways at speed are another story.
Off road snow use is the reason I need an any speed locker. My truck is an adventure rig and sees a lot of off road use. There are mountains I like to deer hunt the late season up here in BC. These snow covered steep mountain roads require quite a bit of wheelspin to get up them! My wheel speed may be 50mph but I am only going 25mph. At this point I am only in one wheel drive on the rear axle and quickly losing traction. Even my long country driveway requires a good charge if I have been out of town for a week and we had a good dump of snow. I know the mod will be offered its just a matter of time. A plug in wiring harness was all that was required on the older dutys. My front diff will get a detroit true trac.
I would say the "system" the way it's set up, is as perfect, as one would "need" IMO having been driving with it all winter. Especially when you also use the icy road condition mode in conjunction... JMO... The negatives to using it at higher speed way out weigh the negatives of not having it on... IMP
As sometimes all of the electronic gismos only get in the way. I am sure the wire harness to bypass the speed sensor for the newer trucks will come out soon. As stated above sometimes wheel speed is the only thing that gets you home. I am a fan of ARB Air Lockers https://arbusa.com/ford-f-350-super-duty-2011-2016 Plus you need an air compressor to function the locker and I use the compressor as a stand alone as often as I use it to lock up the axles.
Wire the rear locker to an upfitter switch like I did. On and off any time at any speed.
I also have my ABS system (traction control/stability control) wired to an upfitter too.
Both combine to give you full, unhindered control over the truck in those situations where the electronic nannies will just get you stuck. Soy boy city slickers who think these mods are dangerous need not apply.

Oh my goodness, you're causing global warming!
Seriously, this sounds like the perfect use for an upfitter switch, great idea!
I think in 4 low the rear locker will stay engaged above 25 mph.
If you truly need to lock the rear axle, I would look at the wiring diagrams/service manual and figure out how to manually override it with a switch. I am guessing this will mess up the stability control and abs, but that may be a plus.
Have you contacted https://www.spemotorsport.com/ to see what has changed from earlier super-duties and what you could do to make it work. They may have some incite on how to do it and/or have a reason not to do it.
It is just plain dumb that it stays on up to 62mph in low range but 25mph in high. Bass ackwards. I would like mine to function above 25 mph in high as well but I do not have the switches.

Great reply ATC. I would like to know more about this? Did you have to disconnect the factory wiring for the locker or did you just piggyback over it by adding a power wire?
If I remember right unplugging one of the front abs sensors on the hibs turns your ABS, traction control and stability off and allows the rear locker to stay on at any speed some people put the power wire to one of the sensors on a switch so they can turn it all off at any time.
Should be easy to bypass the locker wiring as was mentioned. Besides not wanting it locked on dry pavement at any speed, you probably don't want to engage it when sitting still if one wheel is spinning kinda fast and the other side is not moving at all. That might be a good way to break something.
