Antenna with spring at base
Hi,
I have a 1970 F100. I am seeking an antenna with a spring base. My father had a 1969 F250 with one of these antennas. It was great when driving through the brush on the ranch. I believe this may have been an option, back in the day. If anyone knows where I could purchase an antenna with a spring/rectangular base either new or used in good shape, I would love to hear from you. Thanks for your kind assistance in this matter. Thanks for the suggestion. My antenna does not have anything protruding above the base. If I had something sticking above the base, I like your suggestion. Does anyone know where I could find an antenna with a spring base that fits a 1970 F100? Does anyone know of a junk yard that may have one? I am in Texas. Thanks for all your suggestions!

Thank you! I have seen this. I am wanting USA made original antenna. I appreciate you sending this. It is important that the base be rectangular matching original equipment. Thanks to everyone who has responded. If anyone sees one in a salvage truck, I'd love to hear from you!

I too would be interested in one of these spring base masts if anyone has one or knows if they are still available somewhere please share the info. I haven't had much luck finding anything myself. Thanks to all who can help
