Ive got a friend who recently picked up a 89 bronco. Rust in the tailgate and surface rust on the roof. 351 auto. were just wondering what the broncos are going for these days and if its worth putting some money into.
I've been actively looking for one in Canada. The prices of them have gone through the roof here, if you can find one. I've looked at 3 so far over the past year.. They were all parts machines at this point, but they still wanted a couple thousand for them... Even projects are asking $5-10k - salvageable, but I do mean projects.
I was looking into a 1996 xlt 302 auto. 185k miles. bad engine - not running, rough all over but not rusting out - tail gate looked good, good glass, interior shot, painted all flat black (who knows whats underneath it) - everything, trim, bumpers, you name it. 6 inch lift, Very tired project truck - $5K.
1980-1996 nice ones are going for $30k plus here now.
1966-1979, prices range widely from low $20k's up to $100k.

Thank you Tinter, appreciate the offer. I’ve been hoping for a 92-96 OBS, but BC is just a bit too far away for me right now. I bought a new daily driver / for the trails this week, the bronco project idea will just be if one lands in my lap for now.
Six years is a long time on fuel even with Stabil
