F350 electrical issues
New to the forum and have found lots of help full information here in the past. I'm hoping that someone can provide some information for me to assist with my current issue. I have a 2009 F350 crewcab 4x4 with 100k original kilometers. Presently I have electrical issues mainly in the cab..no power windows, no power door locks, no radio, no dome lights, can't take it out of park and rear brake lights are staying on. Diesel runs and dash seems to be fine, but the rest is puzzling. Checked all the fusing, relays, battery's etc...no issues that I found. From reading the forums here, the GEM module may be an issue, water leaks may be an issue and potentially rodent damage is also possible. I'm an electrical technician by trade so I can tackle the issues but some electrical schematics would be hugely beneficial to help make sense of that rat's nest of OEM wiring. If anyone has additional words of wisdom or can shoot me some schematics it would be much appreciated. Tks
Sounds like a "bad ground" issue. Pull the passenger side kick panel and inspect the ground connections for the usual stuff. I suspect that the ground for the SJB is open or high resistance.
