I have a 2013 explorer that keeps going through wheel bearings. I have used all kinds of bearings. Expensive to cheep and none seems to last. I have torqued them as required but still keep failing. Any other ideas than the normal installation that could be making these go bad that I should be looking at?
If you are installing them yourself, maybe there's some part/step that you're overlooking. Just a guess, of course.
might be worth it to take it to a shop to have them do. More expensive than doing it yourself, but it may be cheaper in the end. They might see something too that may be causing the failures and let you know before you spend any more money on them.
