Has anyone added factory backup sensors to their truck? The OEM kind mounted in the bumper.
I am hoping someone has already paved the way with a write-up on what parts are involved and what forscan changes are needed.
I have a friend who is willing to give me his backup sensors and rear bumper when he upgrades to an aftermarket one. He has no desire to retain this functionality. Both trucks are 2018 F150s.
The dealer, or an aftermarket source may have a kit to do the install. It would involve drilling holes in the rear bumper for the sensors, installing the sensors and
running the wiring. There's probably some programming involved.
