Shaved door handles?

Shaved door handles?
Anyone got their door handles shaved off and put in remote door openers? I'm really thinking about doing this because my truck was broken into by having the handle popped off. Any other ways to fix this weak link?!

IMHO, I wouldn't have shaved doors on a daily driver. The one I've owned was more hassle than it was worth.
BTW, shave your handles and they'll break your glass. Replace the glass with steel plate and they'll pry the door open. Weld your doors shut and they'll cut a hole in the top. If they want in, they will get in !!
The best thing you can do is put your rig in stealth mode. Don't leave packages and CD's laying on the seats. Hide your stereo. That kind of thing. Oh ya, buy good insurance.
