Maybe this has been covered.
My dad bought a 2022 F-150 today. The auto start-stop was removed and they gave a $50 credit on the invoice for it.
Can you order it that way or is this a result of the chip shortage? He is pretty excited because he didn't like the auto start-stop anyways.
This is done on ALL Fords at my local dealer...I think the dealer orders them that way because most people hate that feature.
A little further digging shows this is due to the chip shortage. From an article discussing it... "Ford is requiring all dealer stock orders to include the auto stop-start removal option, but retail/customer orders and fleet orders can still opt out of the removal if desired"

I hate it so I am very glad they had it deleted from my truck.
I would be MORE interested in being able to deactivate cylinder deactivation on my 2021 5.0 , I have no problem hitting the button to deactivate the auto start stop, Any ideas .........
