Exhuast systems
I have a 97 reg cab psd F-350 with 77,000 miles on it. It has a chip in it not sure what and a k&n air filter. I do a bit of pulling and am considering getting a new Exhuast. Does anyone have any suggestions for good exhuast systems?

Banks makes a pretty good setup for the trucks, really easy to install yourself and they are guaranteed to last a longtime. They are somewhat expensive but they are worth it for the extra power and turbo heat reduction they will give you. Scotty

I have a 97hdpsd, I purchased the gitkit from Banks,(3.5" downpipe and ottomind chip) I must admit I found other companies with cheaper prices, but you cannot beat the knowledge that Banks has. You can call them 10x a day with questions and they always help, their products are as if they were from Ford direct- installation is also pretty easy. I am in the process of buying a 4" ss exhaust also,however Banks does not manufacture one for my year of truck. I will be going with a system from Performance Motorsports of Fla. Here is the number if your interested. 954-974-1768 , 10-6pm est. Sorry I dont have a email adress.You should definitely consider a downpipe considering you are running a chip(high egt). You wont be sorry, you will notice the diffrence.

Get ahold of Tymar performance, I beleive Dale can get you everything you need for a new exhaust at a lot cheaper price than banks. I would get ride of the K&N and go with the Tymar set up It filters a lot better and flows more too. www.tymarperformance.com
