Weird question about turbos
Hi, so this is a weird question but I have to ask. I have a 96 psd sitting on the ground in my shop. My truck has a 7.3 idi N/A. My question is, can I take all the turbo stuff from this motor, and put it on my idi. All the turbo stuff is there. From looking at pictures they all look the same, just don’t know about sizing.

you can use the powerstroke turbo, but you would have to fabricate EVERYTHING to make it work.
i would just look for a used IDI turbo setup, it will be cheaper in the long run.
