Ford Dealer Service -- "The Works Oil Change" Cost?
#16
I used to do all my own oil changes for years. But next thing I know there's 15-20 gallons of used oil I have to haul somewhere to dispose of properly. There's already enough used oil from a tractor, skid steer, lawn mowers, etc. without adding oil from my truck, Mustang and the wife's car. Those 3 vehicles get it done elsewhere.

I haven't taken any of my Super Duties to a quick change place in 4 or 5 years now. As stated, for basically the same price I'm getting more service at a dealer as well as having the maintenance on record with Ford.

I guess I pay a little more to let it be someone else's problem.

Here they take your oil with the standard weekly garbage pickup. Just put it out on the curb. Needs to be in clear containers.

Some dealerships are better than others when it comes to service.
oil changes is risky Business between ot pre filling the filter and forgetting to put oil in the engine as they hop around between the cars they are working on. Drain this one, fill that one, go back and put the filter on the one that just drained, start a new drain in that lane, oops, forgot to put oil in that one.
