Whenever I post sp*rt truck as I did to reference and article it shows up truckin'. Keep in mind I replaced the "O" in sport with "*" so it would show up what I was writing about. Don't believe me then try it. when you edit the message after you post it, it will show up sp*rt truck but when you save message it will again show up truckin'. I even tried it in all caps and it still happened. Why? Don't believe me punch in sp*rt truck except replace the "*" I typed with an "o" as you normally would when spelling the name of the magazine. Later
in the above message, the space in between the first two lines had the name of this particular magazine in there - it seems that sticking those two words together makes them vanish.
The one time it showed up, I used two spaces in between the words.
The board accepts sponsorship (or a similar arrangement) in exchange for every use of a given word (or term) being "morphed"
In this case those two words used in combination are changed AND turned into a link to the "sponsor".
. . I hope this came across as a technical description rather than a personal judgement of it's use in this forum, I did not originate the name "hijacking".
Odd about the trukkin link It may be that spork truck has committed a sin against FTE. I know that there are a few buisnesses that aren't allowed to be writen here for various reasons. Not even the web addy "The parts place whose web address must not be named" Bizarre about the morphing tho

It's not "abnormal", it is used commonly here. I'm sure you have noticed many key words here "morph" into links to motorhaven.
. . . that's why I do not want to come across as "slamming" it. It is a practice than can be applied completely ethically. As I believe is the case here with FTE & Motorhaven.
Now Micro$oft "hijacking" words typed into their word processor and making them links to ORBITS TRAVEL is another thing all together!
