Hey all, I’m about to swap a 94 Dana 60 into my 81 F250.
I scored a really good deal, hub to hub, tie rod to tie rod, and track bar.. my question being, I’m in need of a track bar bracket, will one from a 90’s OBS work? I’ve spent hours looking for answers and I believe it will?
Aftermarket drop brackets work from 80-97 so I would assume so? But I don’t believe I’ll need a bracket as I’m likely leaving it at the 60 swap to level the truck and that’s that.
The frames are mostly the same dimensions, so it should work. After your swap it may sit high in the front, the stock f350's with the dana 60 frontend had 2 inch taller blocks on the rear axle. Also the front driveshaft was different. Some people re-use their old f250 front driveshaft and it works ok. Some people have interference problems and vibration problems. Try it and see what happens.

Awesome, Much appreciated!
Worst case I have a great drive line guy I go see, built me a beautiful heavy duty rear once I destroyed my stock rear yolk, couldn’t find a stock one for a D60 rear, so had to get a 1350 Yukon yolk in there.
The rear sits probably about 2” higher than the front now anyways so we shall see!
