Gotta admit, that's my flavor of stupid. I kinda love it. Definitely a few things I'd change if it became mine, but kudos to the execution of originality - a trait that seems to grow rarer with time.
The assymetrical seat made me chuckle knowing how much some of us struggle with alignment of seat/steering wheel/guage cluster. Check your OCD at the door!

That third eyeball is going to take some getting used to. But I have to ask, if one is going to do all this work, why would one not only leave the frame notches in the valance, but actually add an extra one for no reason?
I don't know what that guy was smokin' but I want some!
They say that form follows function but for the life of me I can find no function in this form.
I like it. Especially the asymmetric details. That said, it doesn't look that well put together... the bed looks sloppy, poorly planned and poorly finished. And 60K for a truck that doesn't even have a properly aligned hood? It's not lined up correctly on the passenger side. No pictures of the engine either?
May as well add the pics so later everyone will know what we're talking about...I think it looks stupid but I'm just trying to be nice..
Can't figure out the bed wood and is it just me or is that steering column have inches added to it..
They're there, you have to click on the 74 extra pictures farther in the ad and wait for them to load. There's a lot to like, but the 5 things I don't like really overshadow the stuff that works, imho. Not that they couldn't be easily fixed, if one so desired, but still....
Thanks for the info on the engine and the pics guys. I'm even less impressed, now, honestly. Aside from a few details, that engine bay screams dolled up daily driver, not custom show truck.
I can't for the life of me think why he put the center of the grille off-center of the truck. If it had fog lights on both sides, grille centered, only the two parking lights, it would look 100% better. (IMO)

Dare to be different, I s'pose. That's all I can figure...

I would tend to agree. Not just the engine compartment, but the entire truck. It's the quality of the smallest details that make or break a show vehicle. First thing I noticed on the door panels was the lack of fitment. The design is nice, but the top edge is sorely lacking and the puckering around the arm rest and handles doesn't seem very professional.
Aaah, there's nothing I like more than picking apart a "show rod"
It seems I have an innate ability to pick out the tiniest little flaw in a "show rod" that I cannot seem to see in my own work.....LOL
but in this case, it seems there's a lot to pick out. OK, OK< I'll try to say something nice about it.....
It's definitely a conversations starter. There, that's done
