What, if anything, can you change on an order without getting stuck with the December price change?

 

I provided a build spec from the Ford website to Chapman who I ordered from. They placed my order with the center console, instead of the 40/20/40 split which I spec'd. I then asked them to change to the seat I requested ($0 difference), after I had a signed DORA. The new DORA had the updated Ford price and when questioned, Chapman basically said Ford makes the pricing so tough luck. Based on that, my guess would be any change at all would reflect a new DORA/price. How our dealership handles the price difference is what matters.
