Small coolant leaking from the back of my 2001 V10 f250, any ideas? It doesn’t run rough or smoke. Just leaks and burns off coolant on the block and exhaust.
Any way to check? I have no excess smoke, no tick except for the exhaust tick from broken studs, it doesn’t run rough and under the oil cap is clean as can be.
I was reading that there’s a pipe going into the intake manifold that sometimes rust and leaks coolant from there. Is that incorrect?
There is the heater pipe that runs along the valley along the center/passenger side of the engine. I would rule this out first. Get a bright flashlight and start looking in the valley the best you can. Is there any fluid there?

no fluid! Finally got some time and saw no fluid in the valley, did notice a couple damp spots around the intake manifold area but no coolant puddles. I’m stumped, really don’t think it’s a head gasket failure tho.
