Bumper

Hi, is it possible to use front bumper from super duty pickup (1999-2004) without upper valance holes, part number FO1002374 for 2000 Excursion. I expect , that mounting holes and dimensions are same, only difference is in absence of holes for upper valance.
E-bay seller tels me , that it does not fit.

yes works fine, just no mounting holes for the plastic crap that comes on them stock.
looks cleaner than simply removing the platic from a stock one.
