Question V10 is for me

My 1st post, know how they work being I am a member on a few of the atv forums.
Allot of my ?'s have already been answer considering the V10 w/the 3:73 gears vs the 4:30's & since I am use to the power of my PSD & for my not too heavy pulling power requirements, I will still order the 4:30 LS gears, mpg is so close, why not.
From the other post I have read so far, I can see that this Ford Forum is a very excellent information site.

Welcome!

In reference to your sig. Get one now while the rebates are still hot! Don't wait for something that may never happen! (3V V10)

My Ford source tells me that the V10 3v is a done deal but I'm not sure if it will be available on the '05.
Presently the rebate was $1500 on the V10 in this southwest area the last time I checked the Ford vehicle site. With the winter months coming upon us quick here & I don't want to be without 4wd, as I live at 7400 ft elevation, it would be my luck that this would be our worst snow year ever & no 4wd truck.
For now, I've decided to wait till at least early spring '05, as my present F350 hasbeen a excellent vehicle.
I did have my PSD up 4 sale but decided to hold off till I get more concrete info on the 3v engine & by spring '05, more info should be available.
