If anyone has ordered and received a Ford F-350 XL, could you tell me what brand tires the plant uses as their OEM tires? Mine will be here this week, but I'm impatient as curious to know.
sticker doesn't give the brand of tires.. but they are all season tires.
I think they've been putting Nexen's on as the standard dually tire.
But, that can change at the drop of a hat, just depends on availability and what Ford get's the best contract on.
Base 18's on the SRW are Continentals, that's what's on my F250.
I know that the upper level trucks come with Michelin. I was just wondering what they put on the base models.. Would be nice if they did put michelins on. If not, they will be swapped out BEFORE I put any miles on em.. Maybe get some kind of trade lol.

I haven't seen any of the new duallies in anything other than Michelin, whether they're all season or AT.

There will be miles on the tires before the dealer sees it, and the dealer will put miles on your tires before you see it, and I expect you will put a few miles on the tires after you receive it.

No doubt about it I am a die hard Michelin fan. From all I have read about Continentals on this forum I thought I'd be riding somewhere between a Conestoga wagon and a Radio Flyer snow sled. However, I am rather impressed by the OEM Continental tires, smooth, quiet, reasonable traction for a highway A/S tire. And I just have a thing about replacing perfectly good tires with perfectly good tires. In fact I have about 1,300 things about that.
So once I have worn out the Continentals, I'll put the Michelin OEM equivalent on there. But not sooner.
Ride those Continentals around the block a time or two and see what you think.
