Y block distributor hold down clamp

Does anyone know where I can find a clamp that will work on original distributor for a 1954 239 y block EBU motor? Thanks in advance.

It looks like the same piece that flatheads use but they have different p/n's. I don't know how you could tell them apart? But Firstrider's looks to me like a flathead part.

Flathead

Y-block

Looks like same part number (12270) just one is upside down.

Flathead is 8BA-12270, Y-block is FAA-12270-A. If they were exactly the same they'd have the same number. Although Ford may have just switched numbering systems. See the raised section around the bolt hole on Firstriders part? I would think that would prevent the clamp sitting down flush on a Y-block.

Hmmm. You could be right on that. I’m not really for sure.

Hi, how does that clamp bolt down? When I tighten the clamp down I still get movement in the distributor. Thanks.
