It looks like the same piece that flatheads use but they have different p/n's. I don't know how you could tell them apart? But Firstrider's looks to me like a flathead part.

Looks like same part number (12270) just one is upside down.
Flathead is 8BA-12270, Y-block is FAA-12270-A. If they were exactly the same they'd have the same number. Although Ford may have just switched numbering systems. See the raised section around the bolt hole on Firstriders part? I would think that would prevent the clamp sitting down flush on a Y-block.
