Need Help. Rough Running 300
I have a 1990 F-150 300 with 47,500 original miles. Just replaced fuel filter pretty stopped up. When I first start it in the morning it will not start the first time, engine is turning fine just won't crank. After another try it might crank but it will run rough, sometimes even die. After the 3rd attempt it finally starts, but even then it will run rough (won't take gas tries to die off) until it is warm. If I let it set for a while sometimes it will happen again but not as bad as in the mornings. I have ran about 4 tanks of high test gas and fuel injector cleaner, doesn't help. Really want to get this fixed it is real annoying.

Pull the air charge temp sensor out and see how gummed up it is. Its located on lower intake manifold. Check the spark plug wire ends for rust. Servo in idle air control may also be bad and or TPS. I would start by doing a routine tuneup and then check for codes.
