Glad to e-met you folks...
No, I had the lights on before. I am a firefighter/paramedic and the director of an ambulance service... I use/work out of my Bronco to get to my folks on the road if need be. I was on the set of Road Trip to do a rescue/fire supression standby for the car jump scene and the car exploding scene.. I was there with one of my crews incase something went horribly wrong with the stunt(s) but while there the director of transportation saw my Bronco and said they could really use it in a scene the following day (when the police find the burned out car and are investigating) and they offered me a WAD of money to use it for two days. All it did was sit there for 8 hours each day with the lights flashing, hooked up to a battery charger while they shot and reshot the scene. They lettered it up with "Pennsylvania Search and Rescue" magnetic signs, left my real liscence #s on the fenders, and gave me a fake Pennsylvania government tag.. When they were done, they let me keep the magnetic signs as momentos, but said I couldn't keep the tag by law.. Anyway, it was a really cool experience.. how many people can say their car was in a movie?
