I am putting together a tool kit/accessory display for my 1950 F-2, and am having some difficulty finding a fire extinguisher. It is an 8C-18370 brass "Ford" tagged fire extinguisher. The body is distinctive with the two rings on the top and bottom of the body, as well as the handle construction.
If anyone has a source, or an extra to sell.. Please let me know!
I have a very similar one that was in my '49 F3. It is a Pyrene one, and could use a good cleaning. Looks like someone in Europe is reproducing the Ford labels as found on a googly search.
Not sure what I'm going to do with this one, it just sits in my pile of extra parts. https://jeepest.com/gb/deco-sticker-...sher-ford.html
Hi Myers, You might try Chuck Mantiglia from Chucks Trucks in Hamden CT. He sells these fire extinguishers I believe. He also sells the tool kits. Good Luck! Love your truck.

Thanks! He does have them, but they are a bit high for me. I think I’ll keep looking for a decent one to restore myself.
I purchased a mostly complete tool kit from Lin Stacey. I would have tried to piece one together, but there is so little information out there as to what is correct and what isn’t. He is very knowledgeable so I cheated and just bought a correct set from him.
