Late Newbie
Have no excuse as to why till now other than I was up in Washington to assist on a project for quite some time....then finished...then came back to my residence here in California... Then retired.
I have a 1958 Ford, 3/4T, 4Whl that I purchased in pieces down in Texas ( was a state truck ).
Trailered ( two trips back in the mid 70's ) back to get here.
Spent about a year getting it back together and getting it drivable again....fully original.
In 1993 had to change out the engine ( 292 ) for a later block ( 400M ) but kept everything original.
Fast forward to 2018... Added: power Steering ( reconfigured with late steer box ), Added AC, Power brakes, Disc Brake conversion on the front, Currie 9" for the rear with later model axles, ie., 31-spline units.
Drivetrain: Rear 9", Front D44 with 3.72's... Trans T-98, Transfer D24
Truck over the years has been used hard but not abused... Thank God for thick Sheetmetal..! It has been on it's top twice, and on it's sides many times....but no real damage to speak of. Has seen ALOT of desert running.
I own and operate a machine shop ( machinist for 40+ years ).
My "other" project.... 1972 Aquacraft, K-Boat with a 8-71 Blown 522ci Circle Boat...Last time on the lake...GPS'd @ 160ish....Wife thinks I am nuts...

Truck is not a "Trailer Queen" but a looker...
Have some ideas that I would now like to do on this truck...would like some opinions and thoughts going forward... Would be much appreciated...!
