FTP sensor issue

Hi,
I recently replaced the EVAP line on my 2004 F-150 because the old tube had broken. Replaced it with 6L3Z-9C047-F tube assy. and 8U2Z-14S411-ZB connector from local Ford Dealer.
All 3 wires on the replacement pigtail are green. Not sure which wire goes where. The old sensor the center terminal was the ground. Not sure if the new sensor is the same.
Thanks for your time

Post the actual fault code.

It is also HIGHLY recommended to plug the fault code into the SEARCH box and review previous discussions that will likely come up. No sense in re-inventing the wheel, so to speak. The odds of your having a novel fault on an 18 year old truck are negligible.

I am not sure which line you are talking about on your 04. Are you talking about the vacuum source line or the one to the tank side. The vacuum lines on 04 are different even in 05 . O4 had big problem with vacuum line connection on rear passenger side changed in 05 . Drivers side rear large connection had a problem also there was a tsb on that one .
Yes what are your symptoms and exact codes now . Any chance you dislodged another vac line . Purge valve on fire wall is noted for leaking thru when deenergized , you should not be able to blow thru it . Touching these lines they tend to fall apart and get you very dirty . The only time the tank side is a problem is during a vacuum test of the lines and tank by pcm , it is either a large leak or small leak can be the gas cap also . Codes are necessary to pin this down .
pcm directs purge valve every now and then to open to clear /burn vapors stored in carbon cannister rear of truck , and when it pulls a vac test . If leaking open it can screw up your fuel trims . The pcm only opens it for a little at the right times .

The top picture is the harness on the truck. The bottom picture shows that you have to change the wiring order to the new plug. Number 1 wire -brown and white goes from the center position to the right side looking at the plug. Number 2 wire - grey and red goes from the left to the center position on the new plug and number 3 wire - red and pink goes from the left to the to right on the new plug.
