1986 e150 curb weight

Crankshaft snapped in my girlfriends 86 e150. I believe it has a 302. We're looking to ship it home so I can replace the engine or preferably tow it back ourselves. Stickers wore off however long ago and couldn't find the answer on Google. Hoping someone can assist before I have to default to shipping. Thanks

I don't know if this will help give you a ballpark, but my empty 85 250 window van weighed about 5400# when I go to the dump. 351, no options. I wouldn't think a 150 would be greater than 1000# less.

'85 E150 w/300 & 4 speed od, shorty, about 4200 lbs iirc. Cargo with some stuff in it at the time.

That sounds about right---the E-250 and above had heavier suspension components, tires/wheels and frames.

@ Rsco1487: by towing do you mean DIY or using a dedicated tow company?
