Weird electrical prob
Trying to help a friend his brake lights and turn signals work with headlights off, running lights and license plates don't work at all. Nothing works with headlights on. Where to begin other than checking fuses? His truck is a 4.6 if that makes any difference

Has he done (or had done) any work done on the truck lately?

My first thought is the light switch and it's connections. Try pulling the switch and checking the connection.

*heads-up* This friend's vehicle information... Minimal - Year? Miles? Modifications? (recent)Maintenance? And as for 4.6(L) (though not relevant)... 2V or 3V?
