Why is the Ford App sending me these messages? I got one back in November and one just the other day. The truck runs every day. Nothing is on when the truck is off. Is this an indication my batteries are on the verge of taking a *****?
If the vehicle and FordPass are working correctly you should only get this message if you haven't started the vehicle in more than two weeks... at least that is the way mine has worked for the last two years.
Low voltage? I would put my cheap multimeter on the batter/it's and see what the voltage is. I'd compare that to what it is supposed to be. If it's 13.5 or so, I'd start my search for the sensor.
My freakin' ford pass app has been a real PITA!!!
I've never gotten the message noted above, but if my truck gets down to the 500 mile warning for low DEF level and I keep going without immediately stopping to add DEF, I will get about 40 to 60 messages within just a couple of hours that the DEF level is low.
I finally just turned off notifications for ford pass on my phone, damned thing was driving me crazy with notification dings.
So far, I'm extremely disappointed in the technology in my new truck.
I don’t use mine often, but no issues whatsoever since connecting it to my truck. I know it doesn’t always work, but for those having issues, remove your vehicle from the app, delete the app, restart/cycle your phone off and back on, make sure your phone is up to date, reinstall the app and add the VIN back.
Charge the battery all the way up. Either run it on the highway for a while or use a charger. These trucks don't like to be left parked.
I leave mine at the airport parking garage for two to three weeks at a time. I have only had this notice once in the year I have owned the truck. It sat for three weeks and a few days.
I figured out you can hit the command buttons and let it do its thinking after you lock your phone and put it in your pocket. Works about 75% of the time it seems.

GM fell behind when the 2017 Super Duty came out, but historically, IMHO, GM has always led with tech and luxury. Obviously RAM is putting heat on in those areas.
If I leave the door open for a while, or leave the radio on w/ the key I get this message when the truck shuts down. It just wants to let you know it's doing it's job.
My truck doesn’t sit for days on end.
I can count on one hand when the truck has sat for 2 days (weekend) with out being driven. These messages popped up either the day after driving, or the same day after sitting for a few hours.
i have nothing drawing power. Upfitters are off, doors are locked and windows are up.

Then I would get the batteries load tested. Mine sits for weeks at a time with out any issues.
